PIER Seed Projects promote innovative and unusual research ideas with a strong cross-institutional dimension in the PIER research fields particle & astroparticle physics, nanoscience, photon science and infection & structural biology. New this year is also the inclusion of data science into the list of research fields eligible for funding. Projects must involve researchers from DESY and UHH/UKE.
