Why would media, logistics or health care be interesting for physicists? How can state-of-the-art technology, research and marketing be successfully matched? How can innovative and interdisciplinary projects work? What can help to start a science spin-off?

These and other questions were discussed during our networking event “Business meets Physics” on 16 April 2018. The event brought together scientists from the Bahrenfeld campus and researchers from the Faculty of Business Administration of Universität Hamburg in brief panel sessions. The aim was to identify complementary strengths and to exchange ideas on possible joint activities.
